If you don't want Popular posts slider then go to Template -- Click Customize Button. Then, click Advanced. Scroll down and select Add CSS. Now, in the Add Custom CSS text box, you have to paste the following .popular-posts { display:none; } Making this template to show full posts may be difficult.

If your blog is new then Popular posts will be very less. Keep visiting your blog posts and in 24 to 48 hours you will see more posts appear in popular posts section

      • Thanks so much. Its great to have somebody actually bother to reply to these things! I've had my blog for about 2 months, is that why? Also, is there any way I can control what pictures are used on the homepage? Some of my posts have pictures I dont like used or none at all. Thanks again!

I have set 4 posts to display per page in my demo. It is working fine for me. Can you double check your setting? Did you customize this template? I cannot support issues due to customization. Try re-installing this template

          • I changed it to 5 posts per page but I've changed it to 4 now. Its working on all except the 2nd page. uninstalled and reinstalled- same problem. The problem with the pictures is still there too. No customisation, aside from adding widgets.

Hi, First of all, thanks for sharing this beautiful template. I have 3 questions that I couldn't figure out: 1. I’ve modified the template so that it shows the content of the post rather than snippet, but I have a problem. The size of my photos are very big so it goes beyond the width of the post’s box. But when I write the text, it stays within the margin of the post box. So it looks unorganised. That is, my photo is large and my text is aligned to the left and the text does not stretch to the width of the image. How do I make the text as wide as the picture? 2. Also, after removing the snippet, how do I change the font in the body so that it is not capitalized and so that it becomes as it originally would be if one clicked into the post to read the rest of the paragraph? 3. Lastly, how do I delete “posted by: xxx” so that it does not show up on every post? Here is an example blog that I've been testing out on: http://foodfundamentals.blogspot.ca/ I’d really appreciate your time and help. Thanks.

      To change the font of the Slider, use following code (follow same instructions to paste code as in my previous comment) .popslider-description h3 a { font-family: <<put what font family you want like Verdana>> } Use following code to remove the box in the bottom of the page .home-link { display: none; }

Hi lovelytemplates! Thank you so much for this awesome template! :) Have a quick question for you though regarding the popular posts slider. Would really appreciate it if you could provide some help on this. The background image on the popular posts slider for my post (http://www.thesunshinekidsblog.com/2013/06/how-to-protect-your-child-from-haze.html) is a blurred image of a video in the post. How do I get the popular post slider to select another image in my post instead? And one that is not so blurred. Here's my blog btw: http://www.thesunshinekidsblog.com/ Looking forward to hear from you. Thank you so much! :) Cheers, Matt

Unfortunately it is not possible to select another image. Blogger automatically picks the first image for featured image/thumbnails. Blogger has so many restrictions and this is one of them. If you really want to customize your site in all possible ways then go for WordPress self-hosted blog.

Ahh I see. No worries, I realized that the slider did not select my first image as it was uploaded from a URL. And yep, uploaded an image from my computer and it got picked for the featured image. Shall work within these restrictions. Thanks so much for helping though! :) Really appreciate the quick response!

Actually, I figured out the answer to my last question. Now my problem is that my text it just slightly cut off a the end on the right side of each post because I'm guessing there's a margin there. But I still want the format to be the same, just not have my words cut off. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks so much!

You didn't put my code properly. I will give you detailed steps. 1. Search for following code in your template .summary { width: auto; text-transform: none; } 2. Then, change the width: auto; to width: 620px !important; 3. Now, upload your template or you can make this change in Template Edit HTML page itself. This time, I changed 600px to 620px and added !important attribute also.

I see....You have so many photos in your post which makes your post very big. In this case, Google servers will create only 1 post per page to save resources. You can insert a jump break in your post to avoid this. Read this article - http://photos.pixellicious.com/2013/03/blogger-showing-only-one-post-on-home.html

This issue is really very weird. Comments are working fine in my demo site and in many other sites using this template. I recommend two things, 1. First try uploading this template again. See if this fixes your issue. Or, 2. Create a new test blog and upload this template in that test blog and see if the comment works or not.

Your slider is working now. Popular posts usually takes some time. You should visit some of your posts and give blogger 24 hours usually

This template resizes the image automatically. No way to stop this. To avoid this use 640x480 images or images of 640x480 aspect ratio

Use 900x675 images. It should fit both popular images and also the thumbnails

Can I change the 'Read Article' color in the HTML? Now it's blue and I wanted gray. Before you can read the article there's now half a sentence. Can I control how the sentences are displayed?

Is there a way to change the popular posts slideshow to just a normal slide show where I can choose what pictures are shown manually? And how do I get rid of the "You might also like" related posts sections on the main page.

Everything works great except for the popular posts widget at the top to work? It has been installed for over 24 hours and I would love it to start working now. Thank you so much for the template, it is beautiful! http://alittlepinchofperfect.blogspot.com/

  • Hi, this is so lovely! Thanks for sharing! Btw, any thought why some picture post could not be loaded in the first page even though I've used the recommended dimension? Like 2 of my post(s) only here http://meliahalim.blogspot.com/2012/12/virtual-community-dengan-globalisasi.html and http://meliahalim.blogspot.com/2014/08/jurus-rahasia-mudah-membuat-blog-cantik.html Thanks!

Old photos have "http" URLs and the new ones have "https" URLs. I think the issue lies there. The code uses javascript to get the image URL, but I think it's not compatible with https for some reason.

I have been using this template for a few years now and it worked fine, until recently the length of the snippet post changed. The text used to be only a few lines and now if I publish a post with no image, the snippet text appears about 900 characters long with ellipsis gone as well... It looks like suddenly the text is filled in so that all the snippets are exactly the same height (posts with or without image) . I haven't changed anything in the code so don't know how this could happen? Any suggestions?

Hi, I seem to be having an issue also. I removed the coding (as above) and fixed all the little errors it gave me, but now there is a warning saying "Error parsing XML, line 2836, column 12: XML document structures must start and end within the same entity." and I have no idea what this means... I know this thread was posted a long time ago- but I'm hoping someone can still help me fix this issue?
